Rose's Story (Short Version)
After health challenges left Rose Brown unable to work, she returned to Augusta with nowhere to go and was forced to sleep in her car. Seeking help, she turned to The Salvation Army’s Center of Hope, where she found warmth, acceptance, and the support she needed to rebuild her life. Through her involvement with The Kroc Church, Rose discovered a passion for art and, inspired by other local artists, displayed her own work at The Kroc Center—a full-circle moment that reignited her creative spirit. Today, Rose is thriving in stable housing, a testament to resilience and the power of community.
